Fozhard, lets not pull numbers out of the air and try to stick to the facts. I was merely pointing out the mining cost advantages of brown coal.
I am aware that BM coal is slighly higher in ash that the coal in LV, however it is better than Indonesian brown coal. We should really wait for the test results instead of again pulling numbers out if the air.
I am not saying that ESI's tech is not good when located near a power station, however I disagree it is end-use where you want the conversion, especially when exporting. You really want the conversion at the mine site, where ever that is.
They obviously wanted BM also, perhaps that was their preference, I dont know. By the sounds of the reports, they were really after any allocation as they wanted to commercialise ASAP. BM is a better fit with rail access on the tenement and no need for a power station, win-win.
