The local market was a bit timid on Friday night closing at 14c the days low. But the US market went up again to US$1.74 which equates to 16c here. Frankfurt price went up 6% also.

There hasn't been much discussion on HC for a long time but their last quarterly report was almost universally positive. They finally cracked a GAAP profit and increased their guidance for the 2002 year which means they will increase revenues in Q4 of 2002 to US$29m from US$23m last quarter.

The whole paid listings sector is doing well, but Looksmart has lots of room to move up while the bigger players are like Telstra - earning good money but no upside unless they move further afield.

Some tipsters who can analyse technicals (not me but I'd like to be able to) are seeing 80c in the next rise. Given the last rise in March to 40c when the company was still losing money, this could well be. With Nasdaq, ASX and Frankfurt listing, Looksmart can go up three times every 24 hours when it's on a roll - and it is.

I hold LOK and will buy more.
