Deepseek uses OpnenAI APIs - so they stole from OpenAI to build their thing. Hardly an innovation for the market to get so worked up about.
Plus Deepseek is only available in mainland China - no properly run business, with cyber awareness, in a western democracy would hand over their corp data to a Chinese AI.
Hopefully created a buying opportunity in AI stocks where the real innovation is being made.
