Just looking at the last few NOPSEMA submissions in the Gippsland region, approvals took 6, 9 and 11 months:
6 Months may be optimistic, but Q3 or Q4 2025 could be more accurate.
Digging more into previous NOPSEMA submissions (specifically for Gippsland) Decommissioning activities seem to take longer for approval than Development and Operation & Production. AGR are under contract to see the EP through to approval and would be all over public consultations etc. AGR have been engaged since March 2022 and know what they are doing:
So I don't believe your suggestion that the EP won't be approved this year. All IMO, as is your view
