Great pick up!
The Authors all seem to be out of Sydney University.
They report no potential conflicts - so presumably no funding from Hazer or any other commercial party. They do mention Monolith in passing, but not Hazer.
Not sure, but sounds like they produced the graphite themselves, using something very like the Hazer process. The detail provided on their process, is much more detailed than anything I recall Hazer mentioning. Hazer may be looking at their patents, and having a quite word to these people, before responding!
Very interesting though!
