I read , re read, reread and read again and came to the conclusion that there is a very big pause on company interactions with the USA administrative branch.
Why ? Pricing taking longer than normal, no specific forward looking statements, no current feedback on engagements. Then actually zip on Hlhs and Lvad meeting date parameters. No egotistical claims - which were warranted by the way.
Another month required it seems - for what ?
Pure speculation- the Trump administration has openly put on hold decision making and made leadership changes through multiple arms of government. At present RFK is being grilled about taking the top job in the USA on all health matters. I would suggest that there are delays while this process occurs.
There is nothing in the announcements today that add value , apart from two items - an update in February and that the Ryoncil launch is waiting only on the agreed price.
That price can fall from the sky at any moment - but I would suggest a new Secretary needs to be in place before we hear anything.
Be thankful of the Nasdaq listing and strong USA domestic support from our major shareholder Gregory George. America First policies should align with Mesoblast's market positioning.
I actually welcome the February update as I was very strong on waiting until April 30 for a full quarterly update.
No pullback on no news- shorters have exited- I like it .
Molly may need to add a quarter to her EOFY forecast .
A few more weeks is like the blink of an eye to us longer term holders.
