I might be reading too much into semantics, but Jill would have been a bit more convincing if she said, "we have already started the strategic review process, which is being carried out by (insert corporate advisory firm's name) with the following aims and parameters..."
After all, it's been two weeks since Stu left. i.e. enough time to get the ball rolling and provide a few key details to shareholders.
Anyway, this is not to criticise the company, simply to add to the overall point that there are "other things" going on.
