I don't think it is an option to do nothing .
They expect an uplift to the flowrate from the descaling .
I feel sure that MEL's controlling lender will pony up the money to do that .
Recompleting Vali seems the only way forward there too .
Both businesses are barely hanging on but if they do nothing they are certainly finished .
