    I would agree DJ1, the text book says averaging down is a bad, bad idea. Taking the all or nothing approach has bit me in the behind a number of times so I would rather spread my entry in case the market does not agree with my assessment of the fundamentals. It is very rare that someone will time their entry into a stock perfectly.
