How much of the spod that Tesla received under the Piedmont contract has been converted into chemicals in America?
If most of it is being routed through China, (which I think it is), it will soon be hit with a tariff before it is received in the hands of Tesla back in the US.
Do tariffs alter the conditions of the existing contract?
Is Piedmont within its rights to sell the Tesla allocation to someone else?
Or can they claim compensation from them to cover the effect of the tariff?
