It's not about production scale, it's about return for shareholders. As an AMI shareholder I want return from my investment. All the largese talk of "synergies" might sound grand, but my back of envelope figures give me the impression that any merger will reduce that return. As I have previously stated, any deal would have to be substantial for AMI shareholders. I invest for gain not for emotion.
