Trumpys version of tarrifs is to not rely on outsourcing but to produce locally if I understand it correctly, so in a lot of cases industry would need to be built up, or expanded, in the U.S.A. Hence the need for a local workforce, and IMO a very cheap local workforce to compete with low wages elsewhere. So getting rid of a the undocumented would severely hamper this ambition, IMO.....Yeah, I dont agree with the nationalistic isolationism either, but the bees buzzing around in Captain Dumb Dumbs head tell him he's onto a winner. In the end it doesnt matter, it's what the dead-heads voted for so now they get to suck it and see.
