Bit of a sell down yesterday based on Trump’s proposed tariffs. Despite closing at 4.4c the vwap was 4.77c - still not good but in line with the overall market drop.
In any case, the US market didn’t drop as much as expected due to Trump’s backdown, he threatened Columbia once before & he got what he wanted.
No one is happy with where our share price is at. We had a very good news month last December, but then had the Christmas/New Year break with no news over those 6 weeks. This “no news” was not helped by the CR at 7c and some of the recipients of Alpine’s 5c option underwriting still selling on market.
The December Quarterly had no new news and to be frank, didn’t update us on the outstanding items we wanted to hear progress on. I suppose that’s what Quarterlies are, summaries of the preceding Quarter. The September Quarterly was the same, no new news or updates, yet we achieved quite a lot in the following Quarter: IDC loan formalised, SWF investment approved, receipt of the SWF funds, construction contract signed, construction commenced and BAI loan approved.
If we can achieve half as much this Q as we did last Q I’ll be happy. We’re now out of the Christmas holiday period, we only have to satisfy the IDC CP & get FGC approval and we’re done.
