Australia's biggest lithium miner is already foreign owned by Talison, a Canadian company and the world's biggest producer of lithium. It also owns a saline mine in Chile.
Had lithium been a "strategic mineral" then why did the FIRB allow the Canadians to buy the WA lithium mine?
For this reason, the FIRB would find it difficult to knock back a Chinese bid.
Cheers and good luck to all next week.
