....the St. Thomas Battery Cell Gigafactory is going to need a lot of lithium...they are spending on a C$20 billion plant with one of the world's largest lithium resource deposits close by...all in USA's 51'st state...so this is surely going to pay back in spades, once derisked when permits are issued....
...and then you have Albemarle and Volkswagen ...they acquired their circa 10% stakes in PMT at a much higher price...
....>$100M in bank (fully funded to FID) ... low 'hanging fruit' resource's PEA delivered....
...so what is it worth at this stage... in 6 months....12 months....36 months...as a standalone? Don't know... this is a strategic asset with massive synergies with James Bay....
....ergo, will I be surprise if someone like Rio via Arcadia via Alkem take this out at 4-5x current price... probably not....
....only issue is that management team appears to be milking shareholders currently with ridiculous pay packages....>$8M/ year? Bad optics....but 'noise'....
