While the company has been waiting, it has been undertaking non-intrusive exploration at WCC. Those insinuating that the company is neglecting WCC are being disingenuous. Without the necessary approvals in place, the company cannot undertake high impact activities such as drilling on EL6388.
Activities undertaken in the interim:
- VNIR, SWIR, SAR remote sensing (identifying gas anomalies that coincide with antimony)
- UAV geophysical program (SAM, EM, VLF)
- JORC reinstatement, including the peripheral wolframite and stibnite rosettes that were not included in the initial resource statement that focused on the rich cohesive breccia core. Complete re-modelling of the data while maintaining the 1% Cut off. The announcement actually goes into great detail regarding the methodology.
I simply don't understand how anyone can consider this a negative announcement. Western located Antimony projects are extremely scarce. It would be incompetent for management not to take the opportunity to secure these exploration licenses, when the only cost involved is the application fees (negligible).
You can count the amount of viable Western Antimony projects on one hand, and there are not many credible exploration prospects. TMG is positioning and securing itself as a primary player in the exploration of Antimony, in the Western sphere. It should continue to secure prospective Antimony projects where available and deemed value.
I for one applaud management on being proactive and in particular geologist Johnathan King, who has profound understanding regarding Antimony (his pet commodity), for identifying these tenements and securing them for mere application fees.
