The Chinese are also investing in Africa, in a big way, building roads, mines, infrastructure, etc., to the extent that the local populace are losing their traditional markets, ie., making shoes, for one, .... because the Chinese are importing everything, having their own local markets and denying the locals from making a living. More chinese are moving in to some of the Western African countries and replacing local cultures with their own, disenfranchising the local people to the extent that there is continuing and growing violence between the two cultures, ... and from what I see, no consideration for the indigenous peoples. ..... a bit like what happened to our aborigines after 1788.
