A quick estimation of the above gives 47 billion US dollars in Cu value in the ground (at spot price of $9.200 per ton of copper). At 1% valuation this project "costs" 470 million USD or roughly 800 million AUD...@Seth Davis above who estimated 1 billion AUD was not far off if you add to the calculation a fair value for the Vietnam Nickel mine and beneficiation facory at 200m AUD.
