Hi @khopchai, yeah it's not my first post on STX or Perth Basin assets, although a fair while since I've posted regularly on it to be fair.
I do think there are options for the sale of the assets, my guess is a consortium approach rather than an operator sole ownership though. They may have alignment between a retail offtake company, bank and operator, which should be easier to define once the 'drill baby drill' mentality starts to set back into the mainstream. I'm also seeing new gas powerplants being prepped for FID to powerplant Perth. Retailers are interested in owning these assets, so there's a potential vertical integration play on. However, without the retailer onboard though and without the gas price being floated to east coast rates, there will be downward pressure on the book value. Still, it's a good asset and simply cannot go ignored forever and if I had the readies and the free time to watch, probably buy in at these levels.
Price may in fact reflect:
1) the leadership more than the asset
2) we have a state and federal election back to back, which has dropped development like a stone in Perth/WA for the next couple of months, so news cycle will be quiet until Q2.
3) inflation pressures from the services side have bitten into the consulting and development side, which these operators rely upon in WA. Many of the MSA's have little margin left and specialist support is dropping off.

As for the comment from @successful and @khopchai about my investments and knowledge, my finances and investments, like yours, are not the concern of others, nor should anything ever be taken as market moving on HC. My knowledge comes from networks and research, not fellow posters.
My thoughts are objective and my own, I post for the debate not the snipe. I don't believe you should ever take anything on HC as advice. If you are someone who is prone to doing so, then share trading may not be for you. We've all seen similar posts many times on this platform when people get uncomfortable with an analysis they read and react to the person. See Peter Lynch's comments on whisper trading for reference, it's the type of advice many would actually appreciate.
