Broker data for last week so far shows that retail investors are by far the top three buyers, while institutional and sophisticated investors make up the majority of the sellers. Despite some thinking they might be accumulating while retail holders are selling into them. Friday's data is missing, which was a green candle, so it will be interesting to see tomorrow who was doing the buying/selling.
Focusing on the day we seen the ~7mil share dump, it can only be OpenMarkets who dumped the shares into 4.1c. The following day, OpenMarkets both bought and sold 633,984 shares @ 4.2c, making $94, so their Net volume was 0 shares for the day.
