Mate, that really is just a piece of garbage. Not your fault and all such news should be considered. The presenter takes great care to ensure that he stresses that it is unlikely EVER. Just Chinese rubbish. Horrendously expensive. And replacing Carbon/Coke reduction with hydrogen, 6 to 10 times the cost of production. On hydrogen and the collapse of most if not all green hydrogen plants in Australia is because it is 6 to 10 times more expensive that NATURAL gas. It is simple physics and chemistry. to break the hydrogen-oxygen bond takes 4 times the energy compared with reforming the bond (burning) release of energy. And Pumped hydro is just as silly. Huge energy to pump water back to dam. Work it out. There are far better batteries than this or lithium batteries. Iron flow batteries never lose efficiency. It is really simple stuff that uses magnetite. They are in production in QLD. Not well known!
