Stranger things have happened. After all, only a couple of weeks ago we were being told from some quarters that Brookfield was not a contender and, just before this, that CC Capital’s bid was probably not real.
I realise you
dislike Hartley from AMP days and believe that he can’t turn a good profit here. But purely from the perspective of shareholder wealth (which is my primary interest as an investor) he’s done pretty well since taking the reigns from Mota, having more than doubled the share price in a year.
Bidders currently valuing it thus far at 53% more than the $3.00 you thought was
pretty good, and up 15% from the $4.00 price that you thought
delusional shareholders should probably just take the money and run with. Good to see you’ve held on too, though, to share in the potential rewards this 3-way/possibly 4-way might bring.
