45.59 per cent of votes cast were against the re-election of Mr Peter Richards as a Director (who is also the Chairman).
It's a substantial protest vote against GNC's poor NPAT given as @stayer points out, most recently there've been excellent growing conditions and hence harvests from Queensland and northwest/western/central NSW, more than compensating for less favourable conditions in the NSW Riverina and most of Victoria.
The company needs to forensically examine its costs and not just strip out its claimed forthcoming $30 million reduction.
