I can't disagree with what you write xoc. Sure enough the company should be forthright and frank in their disclosures to their shareholders. Only the misguided would argue with that proposition.

Don't misread my comments as being supportive in any way of the NMS board and management. I'm not - they cost me 60k. That might not be a lot of money to some around here but it is to me.

The point of my previous posts was to highlight the fact that I didn't agree with the finger pointing and gnashing of teeth of some posters. I can well understand why people would adopt this course, perfectly natural. However, in my humble opinion it makes very little sense to pursue this course as it goes no where and only seems to add to the grief. We live in world where adverse events are always the fault of 'others' and individuals rarely seem to accept the consequences of their own actions.

Would I like my 60k back? Goes without saying. At the expense of repeating myself, it didn't seem to make a lot of sense for me to sit around and invent rebuke after rebuke for CL - my 60k isn't going to magically reappear no matter how long and loud I scream from the roof tops.

Aside from the obvious folly of this course of action I also think that it is patently unhealthy. Neptune Marine and their management and board have cost me 60k - I will never see that again. I tell you what though, they are not going to have my health or happiness as well. The 60k was enough!

My fervent hope is that others here will only lose dollars (only paper at the end of the day) here and not their health or happiness. That was my reason for writing what I did. It definitely wasn't an attempt to alleviate NMS or CL from their responsibilities. If they have lied or misled the market then they should face the courts and have the consequences applied and enforced.

Frankly, it shouldn't take a competent corporations lawyer too long to forensically examine their market releases and compare that 'information' to the established and known facts. This is how shareholders should apply their efforts. track down any alleged wrong doing, gather evidence and prosecute them. The board would take this a little more seriously than name calling. Getting someone banned from being able to hold a Directorship in a company is way more painful than 'slagging' them off.
