Can we look at the broader picture - renewables are not cheap - look at Snowy Mtn 2 fiasco, Nuclear Maitenance costs, distribution costs, the price of gas, and then when the Sun doesn’t shine and the wind doesn’t blow and a drought stops all the hydro schemes - Dev countries rely on undev countries for manufactured goods and these countries like Vietnam will burn coal - and China and India will always look after what is best for them - cost of energy is critical for all counties and Aust was one of the lowest but not know - countries that continue to burn coal will have the lowest energy costs and the benefits that flow from this - Coal is not going anywhere full stop
