@Stumpedup. WOW, you certainly are active and it’s great that we can give each other useful leads. I have not yet gone into the Munro fund (but I will !) …just waiting for the A$ to appreciate a little more. Yes Qiao certainly is a “go getter” and I think she enjoys “the thrill of the hunt” ! I would expect her returns to be good next year, if not quite as good as the preceding one. You seem to be a little more educated and analytical than I am (about bonds etc). I still hold the Wilson Funds, but the latest report MAY indicate that they have turned the corner……. Certainly as an income stock (say WLE and WAM) they appear to be outstanding ? Once again with the possibility of being dividend traps, if the SP doesn’t actually increase. HMC would have been a very profitable trade for you and Im Just wondering if his next planned step will also provide upside ? An interesting entrepreneurial stock to be in. How ironic…. I was just looking at (HC has done it again and lost my partly completed post) GDX this afternoon as a potential entry point for the actual miners as opposed to physical gold (as I have no exposure to that commodity). SB2 certainly seems to be an interesting g little LIC that is not afraid to take,positions in microcaps that have had a checked history (Alcidion as an eg.). You seem to have identified options that your average punter is not aware of, as was I. A great time to be an investor and some great returns in the offing. WES is my largest personal holding, PNI is OUR largest joint holding, CSL is my wife’s largest holding, and the largest SMSF holding is actually XRF. I tend to think that (along with Auscap) that the midcaps will be the place to be when the “growth” stocks run out of steam. Look at charts of XRF, SDF, TLX, TNE, and it’s a mixed story of SPs. Things will be what they will be. (I forgot the ticker of a couple of stocks as I didn’t want to leave the page and be booted out). Always great to exchange ideas and info and gr8 to hear from you !
