When I was in business (Qld) I always thought it was crazy, NO official day light saving, but I would phone accountants and legal people at 7 am in the morning as they were at work, but ring them at 4 pm and they have all gone home
So people here practice it but keep voting it down
It has never bothered me as there is a long day naturally, but sometimes it is easier to conform
But do cows know the difference as to when they should go to be milked when it is a different time zone
