I've been playing around this weekend with some ASX Gold mining company peer comparison valuations in Excel (it's a work in progress)....see Excel image. below.
I tried to source as many Ann's as possible to be accurate with the latest data (though I'm sure there's errors here and there).
The colour coding is used to quickly denote where value lies, or which company is excelling in a certain area....there's no real science behind it.
In terms of VAU, things look very decent based on the numbers. Sure, the hedging sucks, but lots of other data points/metrics shape up real nice compared to peers I've analyzed so far.
Just thought I'd share as I go along with this.
