Well, Pete, where have the compromises and concessions got the West Bank? The daily resumptions, bulldozings and evictions continue. Israel loves the PA, it can say:" Hey, our peace accord is going great, Mr Abbas,now please tell 30,000 of your people to rack off & leave their homes, cause we have 30,000 new immigrants coming in from the Russias next week...Oh, and please tell them not to go to the refugee camps, they are overflowing...tell them to just sort of disappear..." And Abbas would say:"Certainly, would you like me to drive the bulldozer?"
The PA have in effect sold out their people.. The Palestinians would have had more clout if they had remained united. Is Hamas really an instrument of radical Islam, as portrayed? Or are they painted as such because they wont kneel (or bend over). They probably wouldstop firing their tin can rockets...if the Israelis would stop the daily bombings & aerial executions. Quite a vicious circle,mate. Maybe if someone gave them a life they would be different.
