Brightstar Resources (ASX: BTR) has greater news that Laverton Gold Project has recoveries of gold exceed 90%. The metallurgical testwork from the 303 koz Au Cork Tree Well deposit within the Laverton Gold Project. Among the very high recoveries recorded were gravity recoveries in excess of 25% and potentially even up to 60%. The testwork reaffirmed the suitability of the Brightstar processing flowsheet, thus serving as the cornerstone for strong economic returns predicted from the project.
Gold recovery above 90% was another very strong announcement by Brightstar Resources after its metallurgical testwork on the 303k Au Cork Tree Well deposit within the Laverton Gold Project. Very high recoveries, with gravity recovery being anywhere from 25 to even 60%, were registered. The testwork also reaffirmed the suitability of the Brightstar processing flow sheet, serving as the cornerstone for strong economic returns deemed in construction for this project.
The testwork also covered all metals, oxides, transitional, and fresh ores, with good recoveries generally. Following this success, Brightstar will now expedite an RC drilling program at the Delta pit commencing March 2025; the program will focus on advancing oxide and transitional material for DFS evaluation and ongoing project development.
Brightstar also continues to make good progress with the other key studies at its other projects besides the metallurgical work at Cork Tree Well, including Lady Shenton (Menzies) and Fish and Lord Byron deposits (Jasper Hills). These initiatives together with mine layout design and process plant optimization are the backbone for Brightstar's sustained growth and success in the Laverton Gold Project.
