Wow, got smashed. My $50K BSA investment looking sad : - (
Looking back over the years, because its the risky end of the market, my experience (with my value selections) is that 1 in 6 gets smashed and 1 in 12 goes up 10 times (over a 10 year time frame). The rest are somewhere in between. This is one of the 6, not pleasurable but just what happens. Overall as long as your are diversified and have a long term mindset it works out well. I would love to not have 1 in 6 get smashed but in the early years they look just the same as the ultimate 10 baggers so it is what it is.
Avoid the emotions created via the smashed selections and the hubris the 10 baggers can create and keep your eyes on the prize that is ahead.
