CBA is a mortgage mill. Any AI tech they take on will be used to cull staff, further hollowing out whatever expertise in operations they cling to. The last innovation was to try and charge the poors $3 a transaction and that lasted 2-3 days(?) before it was unceremoniously scrapped with unseemly haste as the lashback whipped the C-suite's heads. All out of ideas so let's do stock buybacks at the top of the market. How did that work out for Boeing?
