    I did not mention MP at all in my post and I fail to see how what you say is at all relevant to bottom feeders. I will address your point.

    Yes it is but both are just dirt. What is in the ground is not very relevant in todays market. How do 20 or 50 years of reserves and what they are affect anything today? What is relevant is what you can sell it for minus what it cost to take it out of the ground process it for. Currently neither company is doing that with much profit. MP is in red Lynas is very close, only making 1.3% on share price. The major difference between them probably driven by quality of ore body is MP is focusing on expanding into Metals and Magnets and that is where they are spending their CAP X. Lynas is focusing on higher outputs of REE oxides and is spending there. Neither one is exclusively focusing. I like What Lynas is doing much better than MP. I would not touch either in this market, up or down, I stop trading puts in MP almost 2 years ago, I have no interest in either company now.
