I agree, still not wild about how things have unfolded but this does give me a slightly greater degree of confidence. I am legal counsel for a very large global brand (not in the resources sector mind you), and I can absolutely attest to how slow big companies move in these types of deals. There is layer after layer of approvals, due diligence, execution processes etc etc.
That being said, its still a possibility a strategic partner is not incentivised to get this wrapped up within 6 months. CE even alluded to it, they can afford to take their time, we cant.
