I noticed that South Africa based WWI has just received credit approval for US$50mill. The facility was provided by the IDC (same lender for US$14mill to Minbos) and Absa Bank. Both are South African lenders. I.e. WWI is financing its project with funds sourced from the same country that it will be operating in. Minbos has sourced funding from both inside Angola and from South Africa and a couple on here wave that around as a supposed red flag. I wonder if they would they say the same about WW1 or any Australian company sourcing funding from Australian lenders?
