All depends on their ability to communicate something that sounds positive in the next 3 weeks. If they can't the SP stays below the 1c issue price of the SPP and the SPP likely fails because its cheaper to buy on market than in the SPP. If the SPP fails it likely stops trading and its 00 on the roulette wheel, unless a large holder steps in to keep it alive, a long shot.

If however they hire a 18 Y/O temp with communicative personality in the next 2 weeks to do their PR and the market hears something that sounds like genuine hope then the SP could take a quick run back up above 1c and there could be a last minute rush to take up the SPP entitlements and profit from the 3m shares each existing shareholder (as of 7pm last night) is entitled to buy at 1c each.

I understand that they want and need to keep the R&D personel so they need to keep them busy with something but it would have been nice if they acknowledged the perilous state of the company and the risk to its many small investors and told us how they were going to cut back to just keep the doors open and important staff on board long enough to have a chance at positive C14 outcome. After that run with Hep B etc but don't waste money on peddling hope in new long term R&D projects which will never have the slightest hope of seeing results before we run out of money altogether and get wound up.

Personally I think this letter showed exceptionally poor form. Felt more like a threat than a carrot. Far from inspirational.

The thing is there are thousands of shareholders. If each agreed to put in a tiny $1k in the SPP the company would have 2 years of funding for both continued R&D and time for C14 to do their thing. The SPP could do amazing things if they stopped their grumpy entitled sounding communications and said something honest, responsible and entirely reasonable. They need to get investors back onside and feeling like its still worth a punt. This letter was not that.
