Well this has been a shocker. The only solace I take from this investment mistake is my own discipline to invest with a small position size and not to buy more when it was tempting and average down, thereby having avoided magnifying the problem.
While it's a 20% drop today, there is another way of looking at it, that it's only ~15% on my investment to date.
Damage control steps. I'm not going to react and sell now as it's only small and I don't need to.
I am not going to keep reading about it today and punish myself further.
Next steps: I will review the report and listen to the call (as suggested) over the weekend, next week and then reassess after a couple of days.
I am going to look at the ex-dividend dates and if I hold, then the DRP calculation period to decide whether to participate in the DRP or not.
I might prefer to take the distribution.
