To put it as diplomatically as I can a senior member of staff said to me. We are taking on new staff. Once you build up a certain amount of momentum, you have to go, even if it means taking a position where the level of commitment to streaming may be slightly regretted later.

In light of that we're seeing with others doing streaming deals e.g. MEK and yesterday CVR (which is one where they paid for the risk). I think management are negotiating the best streaming deal they can, so they build facility/flexibility to correct their streaming (buy back) post SP jump, allied to streaming. As MEK did, they will be looking to build that in as part of negotiations.

Admittedly at MEK, Tim Davidson under the mentorship of Mr Steinerpreis and Paul Chapman put up a masterful* performance. Instead of expecting a failure from our (new) CEO, we should expect some approximation of that. He's as much as telling us that's what he's focussed on.
