and if the mine was going be located in Wanaka I'd agree but backhills of Tarras is really BFNW ..yes is around 100 anti Tarras mining that are also anti Tarras airport .. then you have the private landholders that are pro-mining as farming is break even at best when we haven't till very recently had rain since mid Jan .. I've spoken many a time to a few of the ring-leader anti miners that believe it's another Macraes mine with their refactory ores .. so propagate pictures of that large plant with its roaster and low grade ores say it will have a bellowing smoke stack etc .. fact is the plant will run on our local hydro energy
