Skew if desired two to four four servings steaks, chicken, pork, seafood and vegetables or just cut into medium sized pieces.
Baste with sauce made from ‘around half a dozen’ of the following:
1 minced shallot or half medium onion.
¼ cup cilantro.
2 to 3 tablespoon light soy sauce.
1 or 2 tablespoons sake or chinese rice wine.
1 or 2 tablespoon mirin.
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 or 2 dessert spoon korean chili paste.
1 or 2 dessert spoon sesame oil.
1 or 2 dessert spoon brown sugar honey or maple syrup.
1 dessert spoon rice vinegar.
1 small knob minced ginger.
2 cloves minced garlic.
½ teaspoon Szechwan pepper corn.
A couple of splashes of liquid smoke.
