Looks like BCI have lodged another referral decision to dispose dredge spoil offshore instead of pumping it onshore as its (too shallow and none of the contractors thought it efficient). The referral number is 2024/10054 - and it notes they want to start dredging April 2026. Is this now a risk that they wont get it approved in time - it looks like the stage its at is the delegates decision as to whether to refer it or not.
Hopefully if it gets referred they will just suck up the cost (sorry about the pun) and pump it onshore.
