I just laugh at Federal Labors economic incompetance.

On one hand they argue the need to stimulate the economy further by completing the BER and other programs, while at the same time today they go and raise taxes.

The economic effect of a new tax is not the actual $5 a week, but the negitave economic sentiment this creates at a time of rising interest rates, energy costs and food bills etc.

They drive around with one foot on the brake and the other on the gas at the same time, accentuating the boom/bust cycle.

Re-sitting the school certificate economics classes would be a good place for them to start. Yawn.
