Caravaggio's Shadow
An Italian movie that wouldn't have got past the censors in days gone by.
And that was Caravaggio's problem with the Vatican thought police. They couldn't live with his using street girls and other undesirables to represent biblical characters in his very broad canvases.
Unfortunately more a titillation than a serious work of cinema, but that's just my opinion.
