One thing to keep in mind is that the German auto makers are facing stiff competition from Chinese manufacturers. Right now it's about reducing costs to stay competitive. 1000km range solid state batteries sound great, but it's not exactly a drop in solution within current battery manufacturing infrastructure. From what we've been told by the company, many times, is that AnteoX is a drop in solution. Very much a cost saving process.
