Renewables have a future, so does uranium to provide a stable base load. I hate how energy production became politicised, but what do we do, that's human nature, its not the only thing. Thankfully there is finally a critical-mass wake up to rationality over ideology, so an appropriate mix of energy sources based on the latest technology will be used. There will even be scope for environmental concerns without policies that rely on arrogant posturing and stalling of economies by those that lean very green.
