Not sure that I agree with the implication that not paying a dividend is related to shares in escrow. While the shares are in escrow, a dividend is the only way that those holders can realise any return on their investment (apart from salaries and director fees) which you would normally think would encourage them to declare a dividend. Ultimately it is basically their company and we are just along for the ride trusting that they want “their” company to succeed.
