Maybe mum doesn't want to stick some fiddly headset over her head while she's trying to juggle other things at the same time

Maybe not enough pcs in the house?

Mum can't be bothered dragging young Josh away from his wargames - he's nearly at the next level

Cloe is battling all the other Abbeys and Amelias on Facebook - don't ever think of pulling the plug on her!

or the desktop/laptop takes ages to boot up etc. .......(don't they all)

Mum just wants a modern handset/webphone next to the kitchen bench, as a back up, - she doesn't have the time to muck around - she's gotta ring mum...........

AND - she'll be able to show it off to her friends after the weekly netball game - "hey check this out- cool eh!"

Then they'll all want one

Then it'll be in New Idea

then the SP will go up - again (if PIE head in that direction of sales)

Then some landlords will stick them into their trendy rentals

Then the real estate agents will make sure there's a photo of the trendy kitchen webphone in the sales brochures or website (looks modern)

Basically - the new toy AND - it's always ON - how convenient is that!

What about one in the garage for dad too? maybe not

Just ask the baby bommers about when there wasn't a pc on each desk (just one or two in the office) - the it took off!

Who knows where all this will end up!
