So working backwards from the govt target date of 2029, we need to have a lumina battery up and running by then.
Needing Aus V to make Aus electrolyte for Aus vrfb.
So our mine needs to be producing by say early 2028 to produce enough ore, iron out any electrolyte & vfb process bugs & make enough electrolyte for Lumina. Once mining, will assist funding.
So realistically, the mine build, logistics/transport chain needs to be completed in 2027. As stated by others.
It takes a while to build a mine.
So all permits etc, feasibility studies, FID & funding really needs to be in place at the latest this year. To gather the resources & staff needed.
Or is this optimistic?
