Although the gold price surged on Friday in the US due to the Egyptian crisis it has not shown much stability lately. A lot of people like me will have been shaken out of gold stocks because of price triggers. This is now the only gold stock that I'm holding. Until some upward momentum reverses the recent downtrend I think a lot of people will look to alternatives to gold in the short-term. I think there will be some excellent buying opportunities for gold stocks in the near future, but fear it will be a rocky road for the next couple of months.
