It would not restart, the case will be inherited by the incoming government. The new Government could seek additional time via an adjournment but that would likely be at Justice Jackson's discretion. The case management hearing will give us greater insights. It's hard to say what the LNP will do. It is inappropriate for direct comment from them on PEP11 as it is before the courts. They may elect to move straight to mediation once sworn in. Or they might not. It's a variable.
